Our barges are self-propelled and are available with hydraulic spuds in any size to meet the needs of your job. N.E. Bridge can deliver and assemble any sized barge to your job site. Our barges are equipped with Man Lifts and a center hole for drill rigs. These barges are ideal for accessing bridges over navigable waterways.

Shugart Sectional Barges
Shugart barges are easy to assemble and disassemble, making transfer quick and easy. We offer rake barge which offer less tow resistance. The pin-flange locking method securely fastens barge sections together. Pins will not jam due to corrosion. Frozen bolts and mangled materials that result in wasted money or man-hours will never become a problem when trying to take the barge sections apart. Our unique double head on the connector pin allows for the speediest connection and removal.
Each section is 10’ x 40’ x 5’
Barge weight per section is 27,000 lbs.
