All N. E. Bridge divers are experienced and qualified with OSHA certifications. Our certified divers have a minimum of 10 years and up to 30 years experience. Our divers have state-of-the-art hot and cold temperature diving suits and equipment, allowing them to work in a wide range of elements and site conditions. Our dive teams are experts in pier repairs and construction, underwater welding, fender system installation, as well as underwater inspection and bridge repairs of any kind. For underwater inspections and repairs, N.E. Bridge can provide live underwater video and headset communication between the divers the personnel above water.
Marine Construction:
Below are pictures of our job on the Chelsea Street Bridge in Boston, MA. Three sections of a fender system were knocked off by a large barge and were submerged 50ft. under water. Our certified divers are applying air bags to the largest section in order to help surface it, while our crew assists in hoisting the section. Once all three of the sections are out of the water and secure, we will use our barges and equipment in order to repair the sections so that we can reattach them to the structure.
